About Kelly

Kelly Woolfolk is an attorney, educator, and strategic advisor working at the intersection of culture, ownership, and the global creative economy. She provides discreet legal and strategic counsel to creative visionaries, companies, and cultural institutions navigating entertainment, media, technology, and cross-border ventures.

 

Her work focuses on structuring partnerships, protecting intellectual property, and designing pathways for sustainable value creation across film, television, digital media, and emerging cultural enterprises. Drawing on experience spanning The Walt Disney Company, independent television production, global AdTech, and academia, Kelly brings both industry fluency and sophisticated legal perspective to complex creative ecosystems.

 

Kelly has taught at UC Berkeley School of Law and has presented internationally, including during the Cannes Film Festival and in Havana, Cuba. She serves as Vice Chair of the Western Region for the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association and works across borders and cultures to support dialogue, dispute resolution, and strategic collaboration within the creative industries. A certified mediator, she is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French.
